- Go to the address C:\Program Files (x86). The address can be different for different installation directories of Windows.
- Go to the “Lavasoft” folder. Click on the folder along with pressing the “Shift” + “Delete” button.
- Now click on Lavasoft and choose the option of “Shift” + “Del”
- Click Yes to move ahead.
- Press “Windows” + “R” and then open the registry editor by typing “Regedit”.
- Press “Enter”
- Type “Web Companion” after pressing “Ctrl” + “F”.
- Go through the options available under Keys, Values, and Data.
- Initiate the search by clicking OK.
- Right-click on the entries that appear after the search and then choose to “Delete“.
- Once you restart the computer, it will no longer be there on the device.
